Scentsy Story
Welcome and thank you for visiting my page! My name is Megan and I am a working mother of two amazing boys! My Scentsy journey began in July 2013 after meeting my Director, through an online garage sale group. When meeting in person to exchange a dress she had purchased from me, she introduced Scentsy to me by giving me a catalog and a sample of Watermelon Mint wax. After she left, I sat there browsing these gorgeous warmers and thinking that this was something I could potentially do to add extra income to my home. I had never heard of Scentsy before but after thinking it over for about a week and continuously smelling that delicious sample, I signed up! Best decision I have ever made!!! I had worked two jobs for years but after having my second son, could not return to my part-time job due to the hours. I needed the income but needed to care for my kids even more. Scentsy gave me the gift of both income and a flexible schedule. I set my own hours around our family schedule. I get to choose how much or how little I can do each month. And another perk is that my business is totally mobile, and it can go wherever I go! No more taking time away from the kids to waitress, I can work Scentsy while sitting at my sons football practice! What is even better? I make more money than I ever did in my part-time job, and I am having a whole lot more fun doing it!!! I get paid to party! I get paid to have fun girls nights! I get paid to share this amazing product with others. It is absolutely incredible. As my kids get older, they have started contributing as well and we have turned this into a family business. They help me label and pack orders for customers and are always asking me for more scents for their own rooms too! My boys have helped me at parties, come to vendor events with me, and even tell people to contact their mom if they need something without any probing from me since they love it so much. And one of the best parts, they get to see what you can achieve by working hard while also having a more present mom. Scentsy is so much more than wax and warmers. Yes, it is an amazing product that is 100% safe for kids and pets. Yes, it is a company that truly lives by their vision of authenticity, simplicity, and generosity. Yes, they are constantly expanding and finding innovated designs and growing our products lines. But above all -- Scentsy is a family!!! I have developed lifelong friendships, reconnected with friends from high school, attended the Scentsy Family Reunions in St. Louis (2014), Las Vegas (2015), Nashville (2016), and Kansas City (2017), Austin (2019), Salt Lake City (2022), and Charlotte (2023) and have connected with Scentsy consultants all over the world! I have also earned incentives with Scentsy including an ALL EXPENSES PAID 7-day cruise to the Southern Caribbean that I earned just for working my business! I cannot thank this business enough for what it has added to my life. The time with my kids, the ability to provide my boys those extras I otherwise could not, the growth and confidence I have seen in myself, the business skills I have learned, and the freedom that I feel.
